Liquefied gases are used in various applications, including metal processing, medical technology, electronics, water treatment, energy generation, and the food industry.
Today, more and more of these industrial gases are being delivered to customers in liquid form at cryogenic temperatures, enabling them to be stored on-site for later use.
What are Cryo Storage Tanks?
The cryogenic tank consists of two tanks, the Outer and inner Tank. The inner tank is made of stainless steel 304L (X5 CrNi 18-10) & design code EN13458, While the outer one is made of CARBON STEEL & design code EN13458.
The gap between tanks is filled with Perlite aggregation and superinsulation by vacuum technology. Each tank can be designed as a vertical or horizontal installation. The various tanks range from 3,000 to > 25,000 liters and have standardized working pressures of 18, 22, or 36 bar, respectively.
